ERWIN JANSSEN
GENERAL TEAM MANAGER
Erwin Janssen knows what it takes to lead a
successful organisation, both in business and in
sports. In addition to his role as managing director
of the international Dolmans Landscaping Group,
this Limburger is also the general manager of the
most successful women's team at the moment:
the Boels-Dolmans Cycling Team. Janssen has
shown great commitment from the very beginning
and very much enjoys watching how the team has
developed into a well-oiled machine that always
goes for gold and that has already won all the
major awards in women's cycling. But, as in any
successful company, Janssen knows that you can
never rest on your laurels. After all, the competition
also never stops, so we are constantly looking for
important points for improvement. Every year, Erwin
Janssen collaborates closely with team manager
Danny Stam to create the environment necessary to
achieve and maintain success.
MARCEL GOES
PR & MARKETING
Marcel Goes is responsible for the team’s PR & marketing.
Marcel is no newcomer to the world of cycling. Many
will recognise him as a motorcycle rider who has been
involved in several World Tour races. Marcel will focus
his energy on bringing the team’s PR and marketing to
a higher level. Attention will be focusing on creating an
even stronger sponsor base and increasing the team’s
brand awareness. Working alongside Marcel, George
Deswijzen will look after the team’s press relations, media
communication and social media management this year.
RICHARD GROENENDAAL
SPORTS DIRECTOR
The team’s management staff will
also be strengthened this year. None
other than former cyclo-cross world
champion Richard Groenendaal
has joined the team. Groenendaal
already has experience in this area
as he previously held the position
of team leader for the Rabobank
Development Team. This talented
expert from Brabant brings a wealth
of experience and knowledge to the
team. “I want to coach and support
the riders and the team as optimally
as possible so that our ladies can
perform successfully at their abso-
lute best. This is a fantastic new
challenge for me and I jumped at
the opportunity.”
